Company History
Since 2014, Technical Fibres (formerly Armantini Actives) has been a leading supplier in the UK of manufactured natural fibres for the cosmetics industry. Working with cosmetic products and additives has given us a wealth of expertise, but it soon became apparent that many other industries could stand to benefit from choosing natural fibres and additives.
As single-use plastics and synthetic materials are coming under increased scrutiny in the UK and abroad, designers and manufacturers are increasingly looking to natural fibre ingredients and additives to maintain regulatory compliance and to create more environmentally-friendly products. Consequently, our company has decided to broaden its reach to provide sustainable fibre products for multiple sectors and industries.
We now operate internationally, providing natural fibre products for a wide range of industries to product designers and manufacturers worldwide from our office in Bury St Edmunds.
Reasons To Choose Technical Fibres
Ethically Sourced
Industrial processes are increasingly looking to take advantage of sustainable, natural products for a wide number of practical reasons. Our natural fibre products create value along the supply chain thanks to their superb versatility and sustainability. This enables product designers and manufacturers to drive innovation that’s both environmentally-friendly and forward-thinking.
Reduce Processing Costs
One of the notable benefits of natural fibre products is that they tend to have lower processing costs when compared to synthetic materials. This in turn leads to an overall cost reduction for manufacturing operations. Combine this with the fact that natural fibres are renewable and biodegradable, thus requiring less industrial waste and environmental impact, and it only makes sense to choose a reputable supplier of quality natural fibres.
Design and Create Superior Quality Products
Whether you’re in the cosmetics industry, textiles or any industry which designs and manufactures products with people in mind, natural fibres are the way to go. Natural ingredients used in skincare products tend to lead to less irritation and clothing made with pure, natural fibres tend to be more breathable and comfortable than those made with synthetic ingredients.
Why Choose Technical Fibres?
Technical Fibres was formed to serve all of these current and emerging markets under one company with the same emphasis on UK manufacturing of its products. Technical Fibres continues to invest in new plant equipment to provide a greater product range to new and existing customers.
Technical Fibres are always keen to hear from companies looking for innovative ways to use natural fibres.
